Not surprisingly my mini canvases have been a huge hit, which delights me to no end. These little canvases are fun to paint and can easily fit into small spaces in any decor. At a $10.00 price point, including the mini easel, they have been selling like hot cakes, and I find myself scrambling to keep up with the demand. Not a bad problem to have.
Everyone seems to relate to cats, and they are definitely the best sellers, so I will continue to paint cats as well as explore some diverse animals. This week I painted an otter, frogs, dragonflies and some unusual cats, of course.
A mini canvas makes a great gift and I will have an assortment to choose from at my holiday events. Shipping is also available for an extra $5.00 and I will be taking a limited number of commissions between now and the end of November. You can contact me at: firstname.lastname@example.org
I will be finalizing the holiday fair schedule in the next few weeks and will post that in my next blog.

Introducing our new tee shirt line featuring my original illustrations. We are printing on both adult and children's tees, as well as canvas totes, in studio with Lee's superior talent and know how! I am excited to see how these will be received along side our Fine Art prints and cards. BAM Art Studios will be at the Westside Flea Saturday, June 24th located on Lorain Road at the North Olmsted community park. On Sunday June 25th we will be in Olmsted Falls at the intersection of Bagley and Columbia Roads for Vintage Marketplace at the Falls. These are both excellent, well run events that you won't want to miss!

This past weekend we vended at LaurelLive which is a 2 day, family friendly, music festival. We had several children drag their parents to our tent wanting art for their rooms.❤️❤️ I love when children appreciate art!
Two of them especially touched my heart. A girl about 10 choose to spend her "lemonaid stand profits" on a print of my peacock. A fabulous family I felt honored to meet.
The second was a boy about 11 or 12 who browsed my prints early in the day and brought his entire family to our tent on their way out at the end of the night. His heart was set on the Yin Yang dragons. As they left I overheard his very tired father assured him they would have it properly framed. ❤️
This brings tears of joy to my eyes.

I don't know about you, but with all the hoopla surrounding the RNC in Cleveland this week, I'm looking forward to enjoying some local music and chilling this weekend. On Saturday, July 23rd BAM Art Studios will be at the Westside Flea just south of Crocker Park across from the hospital. Due to excessive heat and possible thunderstorms, we will be setting up inside of Church on the rise. I hope you will all come out and enjoy some air conditioned treasure shopping along with fun food and local musicians. I have some prints of my new work as well as old favorites available and some discounted items as well. You can purchase raffle tickets to support chairities and have a chance to win one of my prints or a treasure from one of the other vendors. Looking forward to seeing you Saturday from 10 to 4!

I love the lifestyle of random acts of kindness and have recently joined a group of artists practicing art abandonment. The idea is to leave a piece of art where a random person may find it and attach a note saying something like:
" This is a gift!!! It has been secretly placed here among everyday items simply for you to discover and enjoy.
I am one of the many artists who want to share a small slice of what we love to do. If you are so inclined, please send a message to this email address to inform us of it's fate."
I'll be making prints of this angelfish this weekend and I'm trying to think of a good place to abandon a print where the elements won't harm it. We have the RNC in Cleveland this week so I'm planning to plant him amidst the chaos to counter with love.

Finishing up my Aspects of the Feminine show at Gallery 1299 and working on some large pieces for the next show. Lee and I had so much fun at the June Westside flea open air arts fair, that we simply can't wait for the next one on Saturday July 23rd. I'm truly honored by those who came out to see the gallery show and visited our tent at the Westside Flea.
Here's a sneak peak at some of what I'm working on.

A new outlet for my fascination with abstract painting. Painting with opaque gouache paint, these vases really sparkle in the light. I'm thinking a candle holder might be really lovely. Once I get my technique down these will be for sale at my summer Art Fairs. I'll look into shipping costs to see if that makes sense. Message me if interested. email@example.com

I'm Working on a series loosely titled "Aspects of the Feminine."
I have defined 5 aspects that I want to convey.
I've done dozens of sketches but I'm not satisfied yet. I'd like to have this wrapped up this week so I can submit the series for a new gallery opening. Pictured are a few of the pieces I'm considering. Not too sure If I want all 5 to be Doni style goddesses. It was not my original intention but these are ones that are speaking to me. Thoughts?
